I love mysterious stuff. I’ve always been fascinated by stories of strange and bizarre occurrences and all the weirdness that happens in the world. If you feel the same then I have a podcast suggestion you’ll love: The Cryptonauts Podcast.

Every week, the hosts, Marc Storrs, Chris Carnicelli, and Rob Morphy, cover the reports surrounding encounters with creatures around the world that defy explanation. Ranging from the laughably odd, tree dwelling, dolphin-like Grampus to the terrifying haunted doll Annabelle, there is no mysterious critter too weird or obscure for them to investigate. Covering eye witness reports and all available evidence, these three friends set about trying to make sense of it all and explain what could be going on. Balancing skepticism with an open mind, no possible solution is off the table for discussion. Aliens, government experiments, mutant animals, hoaxes, and more have found their way to the top of the pile as possible answers.
The research is top notch, with their sisiter website, cryptopia.us , featuring in depth articles, photos, and artist recreations of all their subjects (plus many more) for those who wish to go deeper down the rabbit hole.
By far though, the best part of the whole show is the genuine love and interest these three friends show for the subjects they tackle. Its evident in every show that they have a passion for the unexplained and the chemistry between the hosts is something you only get from real friends doing something they enjoy.

You should check this out if:
  • You enjoy off the cuff comedy.
  • You are intrigued by the bizarre and mysterious.
  • You want to learn about rude clouds that spit at people or frogmen that may or may not have gone to Hogwarts.
You may not like this if:

  • You have no interest in the unexplained.
  • You are a stick in the mud who hates laughter or being open minded.
You can find The Cryptonauts Podcast at cryptonautpodcast.com, iTunes, Stitcher, or the podcast service of your choice. They can also be found on Twitter @cryptonautpod.
